Diva Jazz Orchestra celebrates their 30th Anniversary with the release of the record Diva Jazz Orchestra “30” recorded live at Dizzy’s Club.

Baruch is joined by bandleader Sherrie Maricle and some of her bandmates; Jennifer Krupa on Trombone, Jami Dauber on Trumpet, Noriko Ueda on Bass, Scheila Gonzalez on Saxophone, and Kellin Hanas on Trumpet. The conversation is largely about Diva Jazz Orchestra as a group, how they work together, what it’s like to be part of this dynamic orchestra.

The music is Big Band, Swing, high energy, played with passion for the music itself and for the playing.  The record is well worth listening to, and if you can see them live, do.  They will be at Dizzy’s Club at Lincoln Center in New York on March 21 – 24, 2024.
