Haji Mike is a self described Dub Poet, Radio Presenter, DJ, Writer, and Doctor of Philosophy.  Born in Marathovounbo, Cyprus and then raised in London, England, Haji Mike has traveled extensively, touring his own dub-hip hop-acid funk-dance and world music. He now lives on Cyprus.

Haji Mike is one of the creators of the album Sharka, with Chaka Chouka bandmates Bernard O’Neill, Simon Webster, and Mouna Eddrou, which we’ve featured on Paradigms. Haji Mike, though, has made many records.  We’ll be listening to a sampling of his music over the years, and discussing the music, the meaning and intention, and world events.
