Dan Loomis – New Record “Revolutions”
Dan Loomis is a Jazz Bassist from New York. He is also an inspired person of conscience and humility. His new record Revolutions is a ceremony, an homage to some of the great revolutionaries; Fransisco de Miranda of Venezuela, Toussaint Louverture of Haiti, Simón Bolivar of Venezuela, José Antonio Páez of Venezuela, Jacques Dessalines of Haiti, with a final honoring of the great living artist Holly Near.
This record is an experience worth having. Take the time to sit back and listen to it from start to finish.
Dan and Baruch had a warm and lively conversation about the music, the inspirations and current events in Haiti and Venezuela. This is an episode of Paradigms that is not to be missed!
