Jocelyn Jones grew up around artists. She spent her early life in the company of all manner of creatives, in her family and her community, eventually following the path of acting and then becoming a well regarded acting teacher.

Jocelyn’s new book Artist: Awakening The Spirit Within is an engaging melange of memoir and workbook, with a hefty dash of philosophy. The personal stories will draw you into the awareness exercises, which are easy to do and have an expansive quality.  It’s very enjoyable to read and the “work” part will make you feel good, whether you consider yourself an artist or not.
