Bernard O’Neill returns to Paradigms to share a new collaboration, Sharka with Chaka Chouka (Simon Webster, Haji Mike and Mouna Eddrou), a collection of Mediterranean rhythms and powerful poetry.  This project was created during lockdown, and reflects very much the events of our times.

The album happened by accident, with Simon creating rhythm tracks which he shared with Bernard who shared with Haji Mike, and then Mouna added her amazing vocals.  A lockdown collaboration resulting in this powerful music.

Bernard lives in rural France and shares with Baruch how people have been responding to Covid by prioritizing the well-being of the group, in stark contrast to what we see in the US where there are many people who do NOT prioritize the common good.
