HoodHippie Universe – Decolonization for Dreamers
James Amutabi and Amani Will of Hoodhippie Universe join Baruch to share their current project Decolonization for Dreamers.
This is not so much an interview as an experience of poetry, altruism, and good old fashioned Hippie Love. Whether you’re an elder or a young person or somewhere in between, these two humans will touch you with their exuberance and sincere desire to make the world a better place for everyone. After listening to this you may find yourself curious about their offerings, or just inspired to follow your own loving intentions for the world.
James Amutabi is a meditator, a dreamer, a listener; “He grounds his work in a rooted sense of gratitude that permeates the leg of your journey along which he walks with you as a companion, helping you to look deeper into yourself and insuring that you do not lose sight of your own innate strengths, gifts, and power, but that you invest them in the work that you continue on with. – Ricardo Alvarez
Amani Will is a Singing Poet BeatMan, a Meditator, Educator, Ritualist. “Behind walls, whatever they be, be they prison, classroom, church, state; be they systemic, cultural, emotional, or psychic; we always find what’s creative and liberated.” – Amani Will
