Black Uhuru is one of the most popular reggae groups to come out of Jamaica. Derrick “Duckie” Simpson is the founder and leader of the group. Andrew “Bees” Beckford plays guitar. They join Baruch to discuss the music, touring, and perspectives on life.
We’ll be listening to selections from their new Grammy Nominated album As The World Turns as well as some of their older music.
