Jake Dailey has started Rake Force, “Mobile response team for biomass reclamation and carbon negative conservation services. We use regenerative and permaculture strategies to restore ecosystems and individuals.” – rakeforce.us

Jake describes how Rake Force works with goats to reduce flammable biomass in the forest.  Jake explains how the principles of Permaculture are served through this project, including the regenerative aspects of this work for Veterans, who benefit from being in the forest, and as the program grows, eventually being able to derive a livable wage from the work.

Rake Force is a scalable project, modeled after the Citizen Conservation Corps (CCC) that could make a significant difference for the fire-imperiled Western US, and if properly supported could do so quickly.
