Thank you for introducing me to this remarkable woman. Not just for the world-class vocals and piano, but also for the honest and articulate dialogue which revealed the humility and self-knowing of a great artist. The anecdotes made the songs even more special and I especially loved ‘Our Short Walk Through This Life’. No surprises that she covers a Laura Nyro song on her brilliant new album.
