Sam Gleaves: Traditional Appalachian Musician, Activist, Educator
Sam Gleaves is a man in his early 20’s from western Virginia. He plays guitar and banjo, singing traditional and original compositions that reflect his Appalachian upbringing. Sam’s music is beautiful, topical, and stirring. His story is inspiring. Sam has just released his first CD “Ain’t You My Brother” so we will hear selections from the CD as well as from some of Sam’s musical mentors.
